The small tabby sat on a rock, balancing carefully. Her claws were unsheathed as she sat, over the water. Her claws flashed through the air briefly before the plunged into the water. She flicked her paw once more, and a fish was hooked onto her black, curved claw. She glanced toward the direction of camp, then buried the fish, so she could bring it back to camp once she was done hunting. She groomed herself, her fur glinting silver, making her look like she wasn't there, meerly mist hovering over the river. The deputy flashed her claws through the air once more, this time catching a smaller fish, but still significant in size.
